Code of Conduct

Coffs Coast BWN Members agree to:

Assist in creating an encouraging environment for women to share thoughts and ideas;

Strive for excellence as a like-minded community by maintaining and enhancing our own knowledge and skills, and by fostering the aspirations of Members and guests;

Support others through referrals, advice and information;

Exercise consideration and respect in our speech and actions;

Refrain from demeaning, discriminatory or harassing behaviour and speech;

Be mindful of our surroundings and fellow Members;

Refrain from acting in an unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or otherwise objectionable manner; and

Not infringe the intellectual property rights of others, including those of Coffs BWN, Members, or third parties.
Incidents of unacceptable behaviour by any participant of Coffs Coast BWN events and activities will be taken seriously and addressed. Coffs Coast BWN reserves the right to remove an individual not adhering to the Code of Ethics from any interaction without refund, cancel their membership without refund and to prohibit an individual from future participation in Coffs Coast BWN interactions.

Events Refund Policy
​
If a ticket holder is unable to attend the event, refunds are available up to the close of ticket sales (approximately one week prior to event). After this time, no refunds are possible. Please contact info@bwn.org.au.

Membership Refund Policy
New members have a 7-day period after purchasing their membership in which they may cancel their membership and receive a refund. After this 7-day period, there will be no refunds. If you would like to cancel your membership within this 7-day period, please email info@bwn.org.au.
