Kerstin Thode

Kerstin is the principal solicitor of Smart Choice Law and has had many years of local experience working in the Coffs Harbour area as a solicitor for Family Law matters, Wills and Estate planning and administration.
Kerstin grew up in Germany and practised as a German lawyer before moving to Coffs Harbour 18 years ago.
She decided to start her own business after working in the industry for many years, as she wanted to start a firm with a fresh new approach. At Smart Choice Law Kerstin’s goal is to resolve disputes in Family Law as quickly and efficiently as possible, so that her clients do not end up with massive legal costs and years of ongoing conflict.
Her firm offers fast and affordable options to formalise separation agreements, so that her clients can keep an amicable relationship with their ex- partner.
Kerstin is quite passionate about helping local families through their stressful times and her aim is to be very child focused.
Even though she liked living in Germany, she loves it here in Coffs Harbour, in particular the lifestyle and the beaches and the nature surrounding Coffs Harbour.
Kerstin believes this is a great place to live and raise her children, to be part of the community and grow her business.
Kerstin recently stepped up as President of the Business Women’s Network (BWN).
Kerstin joined BWN, as she thinks it is a great place to meet other like minded women in business in Coffs Harbour. It is all about networking and getting to know other women and their businesses and supporting each other.
